Live! From Brighton...

Hello all,

Writing this in some bullshit boutique hotel in Brighton.

Oh, shouldn't moan but you know the type, a bit too cool for school. Anyway this isn't a good hotel guide it's just a holler!

Playing said town tonight. We got old friends here so should be good. Exeter last night. My throat was a bit funky but I think we pulled it off. Oh, and nearly hit a bouncer under the stage with a microphone. Could have pretended I was dead hard and meant it but I ran back on and asked if he was alright! Rock n' roll we are. We are rock n' roll. If you're there tonight, we aim to please. Have a good 'un.

Edmonton dominated the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night and the 4-0 margin in Game 6 makes it hard to imagine the Oilers not hoisting hockey's Holy Grail above their heads in less than 48 hours. And it would not come as any shock to see defenseman Chris Pronger, who had another 31-minute night, take the honors for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP.
