Hello,
Writing this at home. It's overdue. Had a good time on the West coast. Thanks for being there. MMM let's see...some things that happened...got propositioned in (where else) San Fransisco, outside a 7/11! "Hey stud" he said , "Hello darling" I said, in my best camp English accent then laughed and walked off. I wonder why? oh maybe it was the handkerchief sticking out my back pocket!
Highlights were Portland and Seattle from a playing point of view. Best part of the trip was meeting Steve Jones on Indie 103.1 in L.A. He interviewed me and Jez. We were both tired and after travelling from previous night's gig in San Fran just wanted to swim and spend sometime on our own. But it's not everyday you meet a Sex Pistol so we trundled down there in a very frowsy mood and had a fucking blast. Anyone for a version of Pounding with Steve Jones whistling, Jez on acoustic, me on scat vocals and tabletop drums? Well he brings that out in people. He gave us a gift of a signed copy of a best of George Formby. Top top man.
Playing Twickenham today with U2. Err wow !

Edmonton dominated the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night and the 4-0 margin in Game 6 makes it hard to imagine the Oilers not hoisting hockey's Holy Grail above their heads in less than 48 hours.
